Hello and welcome!

My name is Cristian Ionita, the founder of YO3BN - The Experimental HamRadio Station. I was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1985. From an early age, I developed a fascination for electronics and radio communications, which later expanded into computer architecture, programming and science. In 2008, I became a licensed amateur radio operator, and I’m now also a proud advanced CEPT T/R 61-02 member. My callsign? YO3BN 😊

Why this blog?

This blog is my way of documenting my experiments and projects. I used to jot everything down on paper, but paper is fleeting—it fades, gets lost, and isn’t easy to search. Here, I can preserve my ideas, organize them, and share them with you. I believe that by exchanging knowledge, we all contribute to global progress.
